At 5:49 AM, Unknown said...: My reaction at Craigbob's notwithstanding, I'm disappointed to find out that Apple's contract with Cingular is "multi-year and exclusive" (according to a Cingular spokesperson). On this coast, Verizon has the best deal and the best coverage. Not only did I just renew for another two years, I've spent years getting all my friends to switch to Verizon so that we can talk/text for free.

Now I wait...

Anyhoo, I'm screwed. The only cellphone carriers up my way are US Cellular, Unicel, and T-Mobile (I don't count Tracfone). (Verizon provides land-line phone and DSL service up here, but not cellphone service.)
