"This Website is in Transition..."

"...therefore this website is in transition..."

I just thought that was a poignant referent to Ted's own life. Transition would be an understatement, wouldn't it? I suspect that Ted's old website was much like his previous life: full of accomplishments, opportunities, vision, and grandeur. Now he and his site are... "in transition."

Mrs. Zeke was reading to me last night from local police reports after we heard what we thought might have been gunfire on Sunday (turned out to be a brief shootout at the local Lowe's, nobody hurt). When she read the report of a sixteen year old girl who was killed in an automobile accident, I reflected on how any one of us could wake up in the morning and find out our lives would never be the same again... as is certainly the case for the family of that young woman. And for Ted Haggard and his family.

I guess we're always in transition, just sometimes more than others.

we had a faintly simillar discussion about the fact that you can die at any given time. you don't know, which could, and does, lead some to extreme mortality paranoia (obviously not a clinical definition). what you do know is that you're going to die. you just have to decide what to do with that knowledge.
