No Wonder...

Ever wondered why there's so much fighting online? As a recent research study shows, while 80% of us send an email confident that the receiving party will understand the tone what's being said, only 50% of the time do they actually get it right (HT: Wired News). I've heard people say things like only three per cent of interpersonal communication is comprised of the actual words we use. I don't know if that's an accurate figure or on what that figure is based, but it sounds about right sometimes, considering how much can be said without actually forming a complete sentence.

I guess that's what makes them *good* writers. :p
